Day 1
Hurghada
Welcome to Egypt Depart the UK on a return flight to Hurghada International Airport. On arrival, clear immigration (visa on arrival or e-Visa recommended - see Practical Information) and meet your Perfect Day Tours representative for a private transfer to your 5-star Red Sea resort. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure - relax by the pool, walk along the beach, or enjoy your first all-inclusive evening in Egypt.
Day 2
A full free day to enjoy the resort's facilities and the Red Sea coastline. Recommended optional add-ons include a snorkeling or diving boat trip to Gifton Island, a glass-bottom boat excursion, a desert quad-bike safari with a Bedouin dinner, or simply a day of relaxation by the sea before heading inland to Luxor.
Day 3
After breakfast, transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 4-5 hours via the Eastern Desert Road, or optional domestic flight Hurghada-Luxor for guests who prefer not to travel by road) to Luxor. On arrival, board your 5-star Nile cruiser and check into your cabin. This afternoon, visit Karnak Temple - the largest ancient religious site in the world - and Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated after dark. Return on board for dinner as the ship sails towards Esna.
Day 4
Cruise onward to Edfu, mooring for a guided visit to the Temple of Horus, the bestpreserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god of the sky. Return on board and continue sailing towards Kom Ombo, taking in the timeless scenery of the Nile Valley.
Day 5
Visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated jointly to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris, including the adjoining Crocodile Museum. The ship continues sailing to Aswan, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.

l A full day exploring Aswan: the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple, reached by a short boat ride on Lake Nasser. Guests wishing to extend the day may join an optional excursion (by road or short flight) to the magnificent twin temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II - one of the most iconic sites in all of Egypt. In the evening, enjoy the ship's Galabia party or Nubian folklore show.
Day 7
A relaxed day as the ship departs Aswan and sails back down the Nile towards Kom Ombo and Edfu. Enjoy the on-board pool, spa, sun deck and the ever-changing riverbank scenery of palm groves, villages and desert.
Day 8
Continue sailing north towards Luxor. A day for relaxation on board, with entertainment, a cookery demonstration or lecture on Egyptology typically offered by the cruise line, arriving into Luxor in the evening.
Day 9
This morning, cross to Luxor's West Bank for a guided tour of the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return on board for a final lunch and afternoon at leisure, with the last night's dinner and entertainment on board.
Day 10
Disembark after breakfast and transfer by private vehicle (or optional domestic flight) back to Hurghada. Check in to your resort for two further nights and spend the rest of the day unwinding by the Red Sea.
Day 11
A free day to enjoy the resort and coastline before departure - ideal for a final swim, spa treatment, or an optional Red Sea boat trip. Perfect Day Tours can arrange any last excursions on request.
