First time going anywhere further than the coast, next month, and here is the question I am too embarrassed to put to the friends who have already been. On a private day in Luxor with just me in the car, is it rude to say you want to stop after two temples? The day I am looking at runs 8 to 4, east bank in the morning and west bank after lunch. What worries me is being alone with a guide for eight hours and feeling like I have to keep going because that is the plan and he came out for it. Does the price change if I finish early, or is it the same either way? It will be September so I know it is still hot.
