I am deciding between four nights on a boat from Luxor to Aswan and doing the two cities separately with the train in between. My worry with the boat is that for four days I am on somebody else's clock, and I am slow. I like to sit in front of one thing for an hour. Two questions, if anyone knows. Does the Abu Simbel morning really leave Aswan at four, and is that inside the price or something you settle on the day? And how many cabins do these boats have? A friend told me sixty, which sounds like sixty of us walking into Edfu in the same hour. I would go in the second half of October, when I hope it stays under 35.
