Two nights in Prague on the 17th. In Friday evening, out Sunday night. One free day and I want one thing outside the city. Cesky Krumlov is two and a half to three hours each way. Karlovy Vary is under two. So Krumlov costs me six hours of a single day before I have looked at anything. I do not care about spa water. I do care whether a place is still worth standing in at four in the afternoon once the coaches have gone. Somebody tell me plainly. Is Krumlov worth the drive in July, or am I paying for a photograph.
