About this experience

At the desired time, an experienced English-speaking professional driver will pick you up from your accommodation in a private vehicle ready to immerse you into the Austrian lifestyle. The UNESCO-listed region Wachau Valley near the Danube River is characterized by vineyards, abbeys, and forests and has a rich history worth exploring. Krems is part of the Wachau region full of wine villages, fortresses, and castles. Walk-through the Old town and pass by the Steiner Tor. Afterward, enjoy a meal and taste the famous wines from this area. Visit the Benedictine Melk Abbey, which overlooks the Danube River and don't forget to take some pictures of the Baroque buildings and the beautiful nature. Our drivers are not licensed to accompany you into the sights but are very knowledgeable of the places visited and will provide all the necessary historical information and their local perspective. At the end of the ride, your friendly driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
