Your first stop before reaching the historic center of Cordoba is the Medina Azahara where you will find the ruins of a magnificent caliph’s palace and its gardens. As you are approaching the center, you will be amazed by the grandeur of a Roman Temple as its pillars give the impression that reach the skyline. However, the main attractions can be found in the Old Town. Visitors can take a stroll along narrow streets with picturesque houses and walls decorated with colorful flowers. A typical example of this is Calleja de las Flores, one of the most photographed spots by tourists. A few steps ahead, the landmark of Cordoba, the Mosque-Cathedral exhibiting the finest architectural beauty in the area. In the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs, you will witness first-hand the opulence of the Catholic monarchs Roman mosaics, terraced gardens full of fish ponds, fountains, orange trees, and flowers are a delightful image. At the end of your ride, your driver will take you to the Roman Bridge to admire the Guadalquivir river.
